Jack Murtagh Trophy

The Jack Murtagh Trophy was donated by the late Mrs Rita Murtagh. She generously donated a handsome silver tray 42cm in diameter, and is mounted inside a specially made display case) to the Society in 1990 to be used as a Trophy in memory of her husband, Jack Murtagh. He was one of the founder members of the Cartophilic Society of NZ and was also known worldwide in Cartophilic circles. It was said that he had the largest collection in the southern hemisphere.
